Plant floor.
Stage.
Home.
Thirty-two years in operations taught me how systems work. My own life taught me what happens without one.

Started at the bottom of the plant.
I started as a plant floor operator and worked every rung after it. Maintenance technician to Director of Asset Reliability, with reliability responsibility for 42 plants at a Fortune 250 manufacturer. Then Plant Manager, then General Manager twice, with multimillion-dollar turnarounds along the way.
Winning at work. Losing at home.
The résumé looked good. Behind it, I weighed 320 pounds and my marriage was close to gone. I was doing what most driven men do: working harder and hoping the rest would sort itself out. It didn't.
Freedom is a system.
What finally worked at home was the same thing that worked in the plant. Not more effort. A system, run every day, that held up on the bad days. My faith, my health, my marriage and my family got rebuilt the same way a plant does: one constraint at a time.
Teaching it in every room.
Today I speak to business leaders, churches and schools in the United States, Canada and Australia, with engagements booked across Africa. I train leaders, consult with plants and coach men. I'm husband to Sheri and father of eight, and we live in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Same truth.
Every stage.
Mentors, coaches
and shared stages.
The people who sharpened me, and the speakers I've shared rooms with, from Hollywood coaches to the top names in maintenance and reliability.

Where I do the work.
Speaking and training live here. The rest has its own home.
